Best Family Travels In The USA

Need an idea for a new vacation for the family instead of just a plain old beach road trip? Check out these destinations that are all family friendly for all ages to enjoy!

Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida
The happiest place on Earth is still living up to its moto here in Orlando, Florida after it’s 45 years of existence. Home to the most popular theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. On a hot Summer’s day if you need a cool down, there are also two water parks to choose from as well: Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. I think its safe to say that kids will be obsessed with this place so be prepared with lots of sunscreen to bare the sun while waiting in lines for rides. The two most popular parks happen to be the Magic Kingdom, with a center piece of Cinderella’s Castle, and Epcot, which is dedicated to the celebration of human achievement. If you end up having time to spare, don’t miss out on a nearby theme park called Universal Studios and head to the infamous Harry Potter World to get a taste of the butter beer everyone raves about.

Disneyland, Anaheim, California
Disneyland is the original Walt Disney theme park that first opened July of 1955. The infamous quote that is on a plaque right inside states: “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.” They couldn’t have stated a more accurate statement because this will truly transport you into another world of pure imagination. Walt first had the vision of creating a place where both adults and children were able to come and enjoy different activities together while he was at a merry go round with his family. Disneyland is consisted of two theme parks: Disneyland and California Adventure. Also, the centerpiece of Disneyland just so happens to be Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. Here, there are many fun things to see and do and will keep your children entertained well so this trip to imagination land will be a splendid idea!
