Underrated Italian Beaches


Italian aroma, cuisine, culture and history are some of this world’s finest and with a never ending coast, it’s easy to imagine that there are stunning beaches. A quaint town with a beautiful hidden beach in between an Italian fjord, that is known only by the locals. Furore, Italy is located on the Amalfi Coast between Amalfi and Positano.

San Domino is the largest of five islands that make up the Isole Tremiti archipelago and is located right off of the Puglia coast.

A beautiful, vibrant must see beach that has views of every angle. Known for its steep hills and colorful stucco homes, this town is a popular place to come to and take a load off and enjoy a bit of the best Italian foods. 

 
Baia di Torre dell’Orso, Italy
Crystal clear bay that has weathered down rocks dating back about a thousand years. This beach is located at the bottom of the “boot’s heel” and used to be a port of the ancient city sanctuary of Roca. 

 
Punta Pizzo, Gallipoli, Italy
This pristine beach is located on the southern coast of Gollipoli and is considered to be part of the Regional Natural Park “Isola di Sant’Andrea.” Come visit this beautiful coast to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
